My Opinion: Their Relationship
Starting off rather bluntly, I don't think they'll be together in the end. Everything's pointing towards Inuyasha either being alone or being with Kagome. If he ended up with Kikyou in the end, I would be more than just shocked. Kikyou herself has hinted that her end is soon to come, which leads me to believe that poor Kikyou-sama won't be walking the Earth anymore after the series ends.
Some of you are probably saying, "But the series already ended!" Yeah, the anime ended. Not the manga. The anime had the most annoying and unfufilling ending ever. It basically just said that Inuyasha and his group would continue their journey to destroy Naraku and collect the rest of the Shikon no Tama. Wow. That told us a lot. >_>
I know this is a page about their relationship, but I just need to express this:
Rumiko, end the manga. End it now. We don't want 500 chapters. ...Aaaand, we got 500 chapters.
*cough* Anyway, back to their relationship. I think that the two of them had the most beautiful romance when Kikyou was alive. After she died and was resserected, I'd say their relationship was over. At that time, Inuyasha had already fell in love with Kagome, and so he was stuck between the two. Ultimatly, I doubt he'll choose between them. My belief is that Inuyasha will end up alone. XD Poor guy. Due to Kikyou's death, I now believe he'll most likely end up with Kagome. It'd be my best bet that he'd go live with her in her own time. That is, unless Kikyou somehow is brought back to life AGAIN.
Ending statement: Inuyasha and Kikyou are the most beautiful pairing in the whole series, but because of the constant conflicts, their chances of happily being together are over.
