My Opinion: Kagome
For heaven's sake, I don't hate the girl. o.o;; It's like...because I own a shrine to Inuyasha and Kikyou, people think I must hate Kagome. Nononononono! I really don't! I just think she's kind of...dull... There's not really anything that's really interesting about her. ^^;; I was so drawn to Kikyou because of the mystery she had about her.
My opinion over her relationship with Inuyasha has changed over time. I do believe there is love between them. Inuyasha loves her just as much as he loved Kikyou. I think that ultimately the two of them will get together. Inuyasha x Kikyou will forever by my OTP, however. ^^; I'm a sucker for their tragicness. For some reason, I just can't get into Inuyasha x Kagome.
Does that mean I hate Inuyasha/Kagome fangirls? No. Do I strongly dislike the "up-in-your-face" Inuyasha/Kagome fangirl? Yes. I think that all the American (and I highly stress that, because somehow the foreigners aren't as crazy in this way) fangirls who are more or less like, "InuKag 4ever! Kikyo sucks! She's ugly and dirt! Eeew! She should die!" are the most annoying thing in the whole Inuyasha fandom. They bother me. I also dislike the Inuyasha/Kikyou fangirls who are like that. ^^;; Can't we be a little more mature? I mean, since the rating for Inuyasha is 14 and up, I think we can all behave in an adult manner, and bashing eachother for our beliefs is NOT the way. >_>
