The Hanyou

Name: Inuyasha; InuYasha, Inu Yasha, Inu-Yasha
Name Translation: Demon dog
Age: 17 (not including the 50 years he was sealed to Goshinboku)
Hair Color: Silver (Hanyou; Youkai), Black (Human)
Eye Color: Brown/Amber (Hanyou; Human), Red (Youkai)
Race: Hanyou (half dog youkai, half human)
Gender: Male

Personality: Inuyasha-chan definently has an attitude. No doubt about that one. Behind that attitude, he's truthfully a sweet guy though. We see his sweet side multiple times with both Kikyou and Kagome. He also really does care about Kagome, Miroku, Sango and Shippou (his "group"), also. He broke down and cried when he thought they had died. Inuyasha isn't the type of person to cry

XD Wouldn't we all agree that it's Inu-chan's cursing that gets him on to Adult Swim in North America? He's always spitting mean things out of his mouth. That's why he has the cruel, cruel, cruel punishment of Kagome's "osuwari." Inuyasha has an attitude. That's his personality.

His Story: As a child, Inuyasha was always being mistreated by both youkai and humans. His only companion was his mother, Izayoi, and when she died, he was left all alone in the world...until he met Kikyou.

Kikyou understood how Inuyasha felt. They both couldn't be accepted into normal sociaty. Inuyasha for being a hanyou, Kikyou for being the miko who protected and purified the Shikon no Tama. I imagine it was because of their kindred spirits that they fell in love.

Inuyasha and Kikyou had made a deal that they would meet at dawn near Goshinboku. Inuyasha arrived when Kikyou wasn't there, but soon got a suprise as "Kikyou" tried to shoot him with her arrows, calling him a hanyou (which she had promised not to do earlier). He was angered and ran off towards her village to get the Shikon no Tama.

While Inuyasha was running out of the city, Kikyou appeared and sealed him up to the Goshinboku. Inuyasha was put into an eternal sleep until Kikyou was to remove the arrow (which she died, so it wasn't possible.)

Fifty years later, a girl from modern day Japan came stumbling through the well and saw our favorite hanyou pinned up to the Goshinboku. She thought his ears were just too kawaii (because they are *_*) and began to pinch them when the villagers found her and brought her to their village.

To make a story about Kagome very short (since this is about Inuyasha, not Kagome XD), she freed Inuyasha from Goshinboku and they travelled together to find the shards of the Shikon no Tama. Inuyasha believed that his encounter fifty years ago with Kikyou was the last time he would see her, but he was wrong...
